It's that time of year again here in Tucson... The Pima County Fair. I have never been to a fair before, but I was excited to go after hearing everything that Mommy and Daddy had been talking about. Mommy was excited about the rides, Daddy was excited about the deep fried food, I was excited about everything.
When we got there we went right to the animals and the petting zoo. I had so much fun walking around and petting the sheep, goats, and donkey. There were a lot of baby goats, and some that were bigger than I were. It was fun touching them and seeing how they felt, nice and soft.
After the animals we went to get something to eat and Daddy was right, you could get deep fried anything. I saw deep fried twinkies, M&Ms, brownies, and even cheesecake. They had almost any kind of food you would want. I really didn't want any of the crazy food. I was happy with pizza and trying some of Mommy's Indian Fry Bread.
When we finished up eating we went to the rides. Now, I did not know what to expect. They looked good with all the different colors, but I did not know how to react when I went on my first one. Mommy took me on this car ride. I thought it was going to be this nice smooth ride around in circles, but it was not. The car started going up and down and it scared me pretty good. After a couple of times through, I began to enjoy myself. I did not want the ride to end and asked Mommy for more.
Instead of going on the cars again, Daddy took me on the merry-go-round. That one was pretty cool too. Again I went around and around and up and down. But this ride was a lot smoother and it was nice riding a horsey. I did a couple of more rides; went down a big slide, rode a pink elephant, and went in a spinning dragon.
All in all it was a great time at the fair. I can't wait for next year when I am bigger and can go on some of the big boy rides. I did have Daddy post all the pictures from the last 2 weeks on the webshots page. He told me that he started another page with all the pictures. Here is the link to check them all out, http://community.webshots.com/album/577393524xjQYxE. Enjoy.
Love,
Jeremy
