Valentine's Day

Happy Belated Valentine's Day everyone. We apologize for our absence from the blog, but it has been a busy few days for everyone. We promise to have a lot of pictures at the bottom to make up for the absence. So Valentine's Day was a great day for the whole family. Jeremy was nice enough to get flowers for Sara and a new video game for the family as a whole. Robb and Sara had a nice Valentine's dinner at a friend house and Jeremy had a great night with the baby sitters.

Robb has continued to be busy at work. The job fair brought over 5000 people for a job. So for the next few weeks Robb will be interview the candidates. He is scheduled to work Monday - Saturday for 12 hours a day. So long days, but hopefully they will be productive days. He misses the time at home with Sara and Jeremy.

Jeremy has been the poster child of health for the first 4 months of his life, until this week. We went roller blading on Sunday and it was a little chilly out. Jeremy came down with a chest cold and has been a trooper the last few days. He has done really well, smiling happy, his typical self, but then has a nasty cough and scares himself into crying. Then a few minutes later he is happy again. It is tough for Sara and Robb to see him sick, but he really has done a great job and is a fighter.

The beautiful flowers Jeremy gave to Sara for Valentine's Day.

Looks like a bitter rivalry is beginning to develop here.

Four Months Old!

Well, the little guy (who is not so little anymore) turned four months old on Sunday and we just can't believe it. He is growing and changing every day, and it is so much fun to watch him as he learns new things.

Jeremy had a doctor's appointment yesterday for his four month well baby exam. He got another round of vaccines which he did NOT enjoy nor appreciate, and also got weighed and measured. He now weighs 17 lbs 6 oz, and is 26.25" long. A beast! A healthy beast though, that is for sure. He is in the 90th percentile for height/weight, and 80th percentile for his head circumference. The doctor said he looks great and his next appointment will be at 6 months for more vaccines.

Things are going well out here. It has been cold and snowy/rainy since the weekend. They were saying Mt. Lemmon had 18+ inches of snow as of yesterday. The valley did get some snow that actually stuck to the ground, but not by our house. We are ready for spring and to uncover the pool--at least Charlie is ready for the pool.

Robb is having a busy week at work with Target.com. They are hosting a job fair this week and he said the first day they had about 3,000 people show up. He is working long hours and we have not seen each other too much lately, but so the story goes. We are looking forward to this weekend and Valentine's Day together--we even have a babysitter! Woo hoo!
Hope everyone is doing well. Until next time...

Robb's Birthday

Yesterday was Robb's 28th birthday. The day was not much different than every other day, he spent the day at work and came home to the family. Sara and Jeremy spent the day preparing for Robb's birthday dinner and for the dinner party.

Spirit and Amelie came over for dinner and to help celebrate Robb's birthday. Home-made pizza and some boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings was served for the birthday dinner. Afterwards a riveting game of MarioKart on the Wii capped off a fun evening.

Robb appreciates all the birthday cards, phone calls, text messages, emails, and facebook messages from everyone. It was a great day and he was happy to be able to spend the day with Sara and Jeremy. The picture is not from the "party", but was taken last weekend after rollerblading.
