True, it has been almost 2 months since my last post, and yes a lot of things have happened, so I will try to recap as much as I can. I may miss a thing or two. I will try to work in chronological order, but may skip around. I mean come on it's be 2 months, that is like 10% of my life.
As you know I am going to be a big brother, but Mommy and Daddy found out that I will have a new little brother. I am super excited to show the new baby the ins and outs of the house and the family. I'll make sure that he is looked out for and taken care of. After all that is my job as the older brother. As a family we have been talking about names and we have decided on Jaxson Ryan. Baby Jaxson is due on October 1st. I went with Mommy to her doctors appointment today and the doctor says that both Mommy and Jaxson are doing very well and both are healthy. That is great news!!!
Let's see what else have we done. For Mother's Day we flew to Chicago for a number of different events/activities. First we wanted to spend Mother's Day with Grandma Taylor. Also Uncle Dave graduated from Illinois State University, so we were able to celebrate with him. But if you ask Daddy, he wanted to go home to go to a Blackhawks second round playoff game. Fortunately we were able to do all three things over an extended weekend. It was great seeing family, it was great celebrating Uncle Dave's graduation, and I know that Mommy and Daddy had a great time at the game despite the Hawks losing.
If you ask Daddy what the big news was in the last 2 months, he will easily say the event that took place on Wednesday June 9th. That was the day the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. Daddy was super excited, so excited in fact I think I caught him shedding a tear. Daddy flew to Chicago to watch game 2 in person with Uncle Jim and Michael. He came back ranting and raving about the game. Daddy let me stay up to watch game 6. I loved running around giving Daddy high fives after each goal. I am so happy for the Blackhawks and happy for Daddy that they finally won.
Last week, Grandma Taylor and Uncle Dave came out to visit. It was the first time Uncle Dave had been out visiting, so we took him to all the local hot spots. We went to Mt. Lemmon, we went hiking, we took him around to check things out, but mostly we hung out at home in the pool. After all that is the best thing to do when the weather is in triple digits.
I am sure that I have missed a number of things that have happened in the last 2 months, but those are some of the highlights. Daddy has updated the webshots site with all the new pictures. Both what we had on the camera, and the pictures Uncle Dave took when he was out here. Enjoy.
Love,
Jeremy
