End of January

Hello everybody!!!

Things have been busy around here. Since I am up walking and very active, it is tough to pin me down. Mommy and Daddy have been telling me for some time to write a blog, but I have been too busy playing with my toys to do so.

Let's see what can I fill you in on. The weather has continued to be wet the last week plus, which is nice. The mountains still have snow on them and they look really nice from far away. We have not gone up the mountain to play in the snow only because it seems like everyone in Tucson is heading up there.

We have almost made it through January, which means the next little bit is going to be a busy time here in the Taylor household. For the next few weekends, it seems like we have plans or visitors coming to town. Next weekend is the Super Bowl and despite Daddy's Vikings not making the big game, we are still going to a party. In March Uncle Jim and Daddy's friend Michael are coming out to go with him and Mommy to the Blackhawks game in Phoenix. Daddy also has tickets to the Cubs game in town, and at the end of March Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and Aunt Katie are going to come and visit. We are looking forward to being busy and to having all the visitors.

Daddy did something fun this past weekend. Daddy took and passed motorcycle riding classes. He and I are going to go to the DMV tomorrow to get his new license. He told me that he wanted to learn how to ride for a long time and that he really enjoyed the class.

So Daddy's birthday is coming up this week. Mommy and I have a big surprise for his birthday. I would usually tell you all what it is, but I know that Daddy will read my post so I don't want to give it away. I will however give you this hint: It is something that he has always wanted. After Daddy's birthday I will tell you all what the surprise is and you will understand my hint.

Again, no pictures, sorry. I can't remember the last time Mommy and Daddy took a picture of me. I will try to get them to take some, but just like my blogging, they have been lacking in the pictures.

Love,
Jeremy

January is Almost Over

There is a lot to catch everyone up on as it has been some time. Unfortunately I don't have any new pictures to post, sorry Grandma. I have been pretty busy since Christmas. Getting all of those great gifts, I have been busy playing with all of them. Mommy and Daddy have been getting their exercise running around after me and playing with me. I enjoy throwing my football and mini basketballs to Mommy and Daddy. Daddy has also started teaching me how to dribble/kick my soccer ball.

So Mommy has spent the last couple of months study for a big test. Last week she was up in Phoenix to take the state and national Certified Veterinary Technician Test. She did a good job studying hard for the test and felt really confident going in. She told me that she thought she did well, but wouldn't know for sure for a few weeks. Knowing Mommy she probably aced the test. When Mommy was studying Daddy and I would spend the weekends together out of the house so Mommy could study without us distracting her. Daddy and I spent time with Uncle Spirit and Aunt Amelie, hiking, walking, and roller blading. The weather had been nice, so it was fun getting outside.

So the big news in Tucson is the weather. While Tucson is normally warm and sunny, for the first time since I've been born we have been hit with a number of storms this week. The other night there was a blizzard warning, thunderstorm watch, and a tornado warning. Yes, you read that correctly-- blizzard, thunderstorm, and tornado. Mt. Lemmon got 24 inches of snow last night and that was added on top of what they got earlier in the week. It has been a crazy weather week, but most of it takes place overnight while we are sleeping. It clears up by mid-morning and is nice and sunny all day.

Daddy has been busy with work and then hanging out with me on the weekends. He watches as many Blackhawks games as he can and gets me to watch them with him. I like putting my hands in the air every time they score a touchdown. Daddy tells me that it is a goal, but it more fun to signal a touchdown.

Hope everyone is doing well and is healthy and happy. This weekend I will get Mommy and Daddy to take some pictures so I can post some newer pictures. Oh, before I forget, I am getting a lot of teeth. There are about 6 coming in on the top and a few pushing through on the bottom. I can't wait to get them all in soon.

Love,

Jeremy

Christmas 2009

So much to say, Christmas has come and gone, New Years has come and gone, a trip to Chicago has come and gone. Mommy and Daddy planned a trip to Chicago for Christmas and we had to leave early Christmas morning for the flight. We celebrated Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve. Daddy had to work on Christmas Eve, but only for half the day. When he got home we got to open presents. I got a lot of nice things from Santa, Mommy, Daddy, Charlie, and Dee. I asked Mommy why I had gotten gifts from Santa on Christmas Eve and she told me he knew we were leaving early in the morning and came the night before to deliver my gifts. He is such a nice guy.

Christmas morning we jumped on the flight to Chicago and had no problems. We spent Christmas day with Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and the rest of the family. Everyone was excited to see me and couldn't wait to play with me. I again got a lot of great toys and was able to play with them with everyone.

The day after Christmas we drove up north to see Uncle Lance, Aunt Dyan, Max, Uncle Brian, Aunt Robin, Drake, and Savanna. It was nice seeing all of them and playing at their house with their toys. Max and I had a lot of fun playing with his new Thomas the Tank Engine toys. Drake and I played with some of his new toys also. He got Rock 'em, Sock 'em Robots and other games. Uncle Brian was out working because there was about 10-12 inches of snow, but he was able to come home for dinner and we were able to see him.

The rest of the trip was spent hanging out and visiting with some of Mommy and Daddy's friends. With all the snow on the ground, Daddy took me outside to play in the snow. By play I mean I had Daddy pull me around in a sled in the snow. Mommy took a lot of pictures and also took a video, I have put it below, so you can check me out in the snow.

We flew back to Tucson on New Years Eve, Mommy had to work that night and Daddy had to work the next day. I asked if I could stay up until midnight to celebrate the new decade, but Mommy and Daddy said no. So I went to bed early and celebrated with Mommy the next day while Daddy was at work. So now we are all getting settled back in after traveling for the holidays. Mommy and Daddy are busy trying to figure out where to put all my new toys and I am trying to figure out how I can play with all of them at the same time.

I have put some pictures below and had Daddy update the new photos on webshots. Also the video from playing in the snow is below too. Enjoy.

Jeremy
