So Much to Tell

So I have so much stuff to tell you guys. Yes, yes, I know that it has been a while since I last wrote, but I have attached a lot of great pictures, and I have so much to say. I am going to save the really big and exciting news till the end so you have to read everything I am going to write. No reading ahead.

First off, I am really excited that the Blackhawks are in the playoffs. I know that Daddy is excited I hear him yelling every night the games are on. Sometimes he sounds happy, other times, I am not sure he is so happy. Hopefully they will do well and Daddy won't be mad at the TV.

Anyways, on to my new cool things. I got an awesome new bathtub, it's a big rubber ducky. I don't know where it came from, I don't care where it came from, I am just really happy that it is mine. It is big and inflatable and if you squeeze the beak it will actually quack. It really makes bath time fun. Not that I didn't enjoy my baths before, but now I get to sit in a duck while I get clean.

I also got a new high chair. Well it isn't a full size high chair, it straps onto the dining room chair, but it is a lot nicer than the other one I had. This one has a high back on it so when I am have a good time and thrashing my head around I won't bump it on the metal backing of the chair, now I have padding I can bump my head into. Also, I have been eating big boy food for a while and Mommy has decided she is going to start making some food for me. She has made me peas and sweet potatoes, which are really good. I am really liking big boy food and can't wait to see what else Mommy is going to make.

Since Daddy has Tuesday-Friday off from work, we get to spend a lot of time together. He is really working with me to teach me how to roll over and I am happy to say that I am finally getting the hang of things. When ever he puts me down on the blanket now I roll over. I have so much fun I always giggle when ever I roll. If Charlie or Dee are close by I like to roll close to them so I can pet and grab them. They don't like it when I grab them, but they let me do it cause they love me. I love them too.

Here is the big news. I went swimming today!!! Mommy said that since the weather was really warm lately and the pool was warm we could give it a try. I was a little scared at first. I have seen Charlie in there and it looks like fun, but I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. But it was like a really big bath tub. There was even a rubber ducky floating in the pool. Daddy put me in a floaty and tugged me around the pool and I had the best time ever. Charlie even joined us in the pool and splashed me. She scared me the first time, but it was fun getting water on me. I hope to go swimming everyday. Look out Grandpa Doubek, I am going to swim circles around you in Hawaii!

Well I need to head to bed, I am a little tired from rolling over and from swimming today. But before I go I have attached a number of pictures. If you want to see more please head over to the webshots site and check them out. Thanks for reading.

Love,
Jeremy

This bath tub is the coolest!
My new high chair, Daddy says that I need to learn how to feed myself, so I am trying. It's not going very well though.

Check it out, Daddy is hooking me up. Of course Charlie is close by to make sure he is doing everything right. She is always looking out for me.

Safety first, Charlie and Dee making sure that I am safe inside my raft. I think they were jealous that I was able to swim in style.

I need to work on my tan.

Happy Easter

Happy belated Easter everyone! It seems that I am always a a few days late when big events/holidays happen. My apologizes-- I don't always have time in my busy day to write entries and I need to get permission from Mommy and Daddy when I want to write an entry.

I had a great time over Easter weekend. Mommy and I went up Phoenix for the weekend to spend the holiday with Grandma and Grandpa Doubek. Unfortunately, Daddy had to work all weekend, so he was not able to join us. Mommy told me all about the Easter Bunny on the ride up there and I guess the Easter Bunny had written me a letter to tell me that my basket would be delivered to Phoenix. I was excited to see what this Easter Bunny character was all about.

The Easter Bunny brought me a sweet dinosaur to add to my collection. How did he know that I wanted a dinosaur? I am impressed. I think next year I am going to let the Easter Bunny know I want a real dinosaur, that would be awesome. I think Charlie and Dee would have fun playing with a real dinosaur.

Mommy forgot to bring the camera with her, so I don't have any pictures of my new dinosaur, I am sorry. I have attached a picture, though, taken awhile ago. So I hope you enjoy that. Tomorrow night Daddy and I are planning to watch the Blackhawks game. Daddy tells me it is not everyday the Blackhawks make the playoffs, so I am excited to watch it. Uncle Jim and Grandpa Taylor are going to be at the game, I think Daddy is pretty jealous. Anyway, it should be fun.

Jeremy

6 Months Old

So I am now one day past being 6 months old. Wow, yesterday was a great day for me. Both Mommy and Daddy were home with me and spent the whole day with me. They took me to the Doctor's office for my 6 month check up. I found out that I am now over 20 pounds, weighing in at 20lb 5oz and I am 28 inches tall. Look out Uncle Jim, I'm catching up to you! What Mommy and Daddy didn't warn me about was that at your 6 month check up you get shots. I was not a fan of those, they hurt. But Mommy did a great job helping me through it and she told me I did really good.

After the Doctors, we went out for breakfast at a great breakfast restaurant, The Good Egg. I started feeling a little tired while we were there and soon after we got home I went to bed. When I woke up Daddy showed me a new picture he had on his arm. He told me that it was my footprint and I think it looks pretty cool. I have attached a picture below so you can see Daddy's new tattoo.

There was one last surprise that Mommy and Daddy picked up for my 1/2 year birthday, a new jogging stroller! Though I think it was more of a gift for them then it is for me. This new stroller is awesome!!! It is black and gray and goes really fast. Well at first it goes fast, but then it slows down. I think that Mommy and Daddy need to work on their running so they can go fast all the time. I really like the wind blowing in my face and hair and being able to look around at everything outside.

One thing that I forgot to write about last time, was my new hair cut. Mommy said that my hair was starting to look like Donald Trump, whoever he is, and that I needed to get it cut. So she did a great job giving me a cool new summer hair cut. Look out ladies, I have a sweet new hair-do. I am going to look good this Summer with a new hair cut and a sweet new stroller.

Sabino Canyon and Peas

Hello again everyone. I wanted to fill you all in on what is new with me. So today we went back to Sabino Canyon to do some hiking with our friends Christine and her daughter Emily. We went about 3 miles back into the canyon, but it got a little warm, so we decided to turn around instead of going to the end. I don't remember the whole trip, I feel asleep along the way. But based on how tired Mommy and Daddy were, I would say that it was a long and hot trip. It is nice to have them around to push me around all the time in my stroller.

When we got home from the hike, of course I was hungry. It is tough sitting in a stroller getting pushed through Sabino Canyon. I have really taken a liking to big boy food. So when we got home Mommy was nice enough to feed me peas. The peas were really good. I am enjoying all the new fruits and vegetables that Mommy has picked up for me. As you can see from the picture below, Charlie is not far away, she is hoping to clean my face every time I am done eating.

One other thing that I have learned to do is to drink from a sippy cup. Well actually I have not learned how to drink from it yet, but I do know how to put it up to my lips where I can then chew on it. One of these days I will figure out how to drink from it. When I do struggle, Mommy is nice enough to help me out. I love her.

Here is one last picture I thought I would throw in. Daddy caught me smiling after I finished my snack. I thought that maybe you all would enjoy it. Thanks for reading, I'll write more later.
Love,
Jeremy

Goodbye Grandma and Grandpa

This morning was a sad day in Tucson. Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's vacation came to an end. Daddy and I drove them to the airport in the morning and it was tough saying goodbye. I had such a good time with them I hope that they come back and visit more often. It was nice having them in town, I got so many great new books, clothes, and Grandpa finally gave me the dinosaur I had asked him about. You can see it in the picture below along with a new shirt that Aunt Katie sent me. Thanks everyone!

Yesterday we had a nice family outing to Sabino Canyon and went hiking. Mommy and Daddy forgot their camera, so they couldn't get any hiking pictures of me. Grandma and Grandpa took pictures and I'll try to get some of them and post them here on the blog. It was was fun hiking with everyone and being able to spend the day together.

Here is a picture of the family.Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to take the picture of us and I think it turned out great. Enjoy!

Jeremy

See my cool, new, orange dinosaur. Thanks Grandpa Taylor!
