More Visitors

Well we had more visitors in the house this past weekend. Uncle Jim and Michael came out to visit. They came in Thursday afternoon and left earlier today. They came to see me, but also to go with Mommy and Daddy to the Blackhawks game in Phoenix.

On Friday, Daddy took off work and all of the boys went out to Colossal Cave. None of us had been out there so we thought it would be a fun thing to do. Since there are a lot of stairs in the cave Daddy had to carry me. It was pretty cool seeing all the different rocks and how things look underground. Mommy was pretty jealous that we went there, but she has been there before so she knows how cool of a place it is.

Saturday was the Blackhawks game, but before heading up to Phoenix we all went hiking up on Mt. Lemmon. Daddy put me in the backpack and we hiked in Molino Canyon. There was more water there than we have seen before, which made hiking that much better. I had a great time hopping around with Daddy. It was a beautiful day and the sun was out, but it was a little windy, which made it a little chilly.

That afternoon Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Ms. Brandi's so they could go to the Blackhawks game. I had a great time with Ms. Brandi and her family. We went to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner, which was awesome. Not the case for Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Jim, and Michael....unfortunately, the Blackhawks were not able to pull out a win and lost in a shoot out. While none of them were happy about the loss, Michael seemed to take the loss the worst. I told them that everything was going to be alright, and to stay positive.

We were able to take a bunch of pictures and Daddy has up loaded them on webshots, so check them out when you get a chance. We have more visitors coming next weekend, so I should have more stories and pictures coming soon.

Jeremy

Mommy and I were playing bubbles before I went to bed. It is soooooo much fun chasing after bubbles.

Michael and I outside of Colossal Cave, we were both excited about what we saw.

The Fab Four Men. Daddy in blue, with me on his back, Michael in red, and Uncle Jim in orange. This is from hiking in Molino Canyon.

I was telling Daddy to be careful because I did not want to fall into the water. He did a great job keeping me safe.

Mommy and Daddy at the Hawks game. This was when the Hawks were winning, they did not have those smiles after the game was over.

Mommy Passed

I have some great news. If you remember back to December I wrote about Mommy taking her vet tech test? Well, Mommy got her results this week, and she passed!!! We are all excited here at the house that Mommy passed. She had been worrying about it for a while, and was relieved when she found out she passed.

Nothing else has really been going on around here. With the weather getting nice I am looking forward to spending more time outside. Going for walks, roller blading, going to the zoo, and hopefully soon swimming.

Hope everyone is doing well. I will let you know the next time we have something going on. But for now, we are just happy that Mommy passed her test.

Love,
Jeremy
I decided that I needed to see what was in the back of the lazy susan.

Mommy caught me building my new fort out of canned goods.

Daddy and I were watching the Hawks game on Sunday.

This was my reaction when the Capitals tied the game.

I didn't know what happened when the Hawks lost in overtime.

Old Tucson Studios

Howdy pardner. It's been a while, I know, but we did some really cool stuff in the last little bit and took a bunch of pictures. This past weekend Daddy's uncle, so my Great Uncle, Jeff, came out to visit from Wisconsin. He had a work conference in Phoenix during the week and decided to come down and visit us on the weekend before flying home. It was great seeing Great Uncle Jeff since we only get to see him once a year around the holidays, so it was a treat.

We took Great Uncle Jeff out to Old Tucson Studios. We have never been there before, but heard that it was a fun place. They film a lot of movies, TV shows, and commercials out there because it is set up like a Wild West Town. Movies like Tombstone, Three Amigos, Hombre, and Cannonball Run 2 were filmed out there. It was pretty cool seeing all the old buildinsg and everything. There was even a gun fight that we were able to watch. Well, Daddy and I only watched a part of it, because the guns were really loud, and I did not much care for it.

We got to go on this train and take a train ride around the property to see all the old sets. We also went on a haunted mine tour. I didn't think it was too scary, but I held on to Daddy tight, cause I thought he was going to be scared. For lunch we ate at Phoebe's Pizza and Sweets. Daddy told me that was Great Grandma Taylor's first name, so we had to eat there. Oh and I love pizza, so I did not mind.

Overall I had a great visit with Great Uncle Jeff. I hope he comes out again soon. I think Charlie and Dee want him to come out again too because they had a lot of fun playing with him. We are having a few more visitors in few weeks as Uncle Jim and Michael are going to be visiting and going with Mommy and Daddy to the Blackhawks game in Phoenix. March is our month of visitors, so I should have a lot to write about this month.

Oh, before I go. Daddy did update the webshots page with all the pictures from Old Tucson Studios and some other pictures from around the house, my man cave, and bath time. Enjoy everyone.

Jeremy

Mommy and I were trying to drive this old steam train engine. Look out Daddy!!

The three amigos outside of Phoebe's Pizza and Sweets. Yeah, the pizza was pretty sweet.

Mommy, Daddy, and I on the train. I think this is a really good family photo.

Dog bed, schmog bed. I kicked Dee out and have declared this my lounge chair outside my man cave. It is quite comfy.
