When the cruise ship got back to port in Honolulu, Gramps set up a tour bus to pick us up and take us to Pearl Harbor. I didn't really know the history and everything behind Pearl Harbor, but Daddy filled me in. I don't think it was nice to Japan to do what they did to all those sailors. Daddy told me that I need to be on my best behavior and not to be too loud when we got to the Memorial.
We there and they showed us a movie about what had happened. I was feeling a little tired when the movie was going on. After the movie we got on another boat and it took us out to the Memorial. The building was a beautiful white building that stood over top of the U.S.S. Arizona. The boat was below us and we could look down at it. I did a good job at staying quiet and just taking it all in. I don't know if I am going to remember a lot about it when I get older, but it was nice of Gramps to take us there.
After we left Pearl Harbor, we went to the old Dole Pineapple Plantation and then by North Shore. The Dole Plantation was cool we got to ride a train (the Pineapple Express) through out the premises. There are a number of different pineapples that come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. That night we went to the airport and took a red-eye back home. It was a long day getting off the ship, going to Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, North Shore and then flying home. I was happy to get home and see my doggies.
Hawaii was great fun. Nana and Gramps planned a great trip. It was fun seeing the whole family, hopefully I can see them again soon. These are the last of the pictures from Hawaii, but like I said before they are all on the webshots page. Thanks for reading everyone. I hope you enjoyed everything and enjoy the pictures.
Love,
Jeremy
